Objectives

Introduction
This 2 day Cancer Management and Support Group Summit will provide an opportunity for clinicians, advocates, survivors, patients and caregivers to come together to share ideas and programs surrounding cancer management, support, education, and advocacy. This event is the first of its kind for the region.

The Summit will take place November 14-15, 2015 in Nha Trang, Khanh Hoa, Vietnam.
Venue: Muong Thanh Nhatrang Centre, 60 Tran Phu Street
The program will include sessions and activities focused on:
Quality of Cancer Management
Early detection, screening, diagnosis and treatment, cancer care as a multi-disciplinary process, importance of data collection and cancer registries
Cancer Awareness, Education and Advocacy
Prevention, early detection and screening, combating stigma, myth, fear, health messaging, the importance of patient advocates.
Supportive Care
Patient navigation, financing, access to treatment, caregiver support, palliation/end of life care.
Capacity and Coalition Building
Advocacy, partnerships, guideline development, mission delivery, program funding, coalition building, government and media engagement, sustainability.
